LYNN - Sheila J. (Reddington) Richards, age 75, of Lynn, passed away, Sunday, November 27, 2016 at her home surrounded by her family. Sheila was the loving mother of Brenda Richards-Bohannon and her husband, Stephen (Bubba) of Salem, Deborah Heffington and her husband Paul of South Carolina, Pamilynne Richards and Rardy Quealy of Hyannis, and Dyannmarie Tanso and Buzz Redgewell of Florida; the dear sister of Monte Reddington and his wife Mary of California, Jackie Gordon and her late husband, Joseph of Burlington, Gerriann Lydon of Wilmington and Jeanne Smith and her husband, Joseph of...

LYNN - Sheila J. (Reddington) Richards, age 75, of Lynn, passed away, Sunday, November 27, 2016 at her home surrounded by her family. Sheila was the loving mother of Brenda Richards-Bohannon and her husband, Stephen (Bubba) of Salem, Deborah Heffington and her husband Paul of South Carolina, Pamilynne Richards and Rardy Quealy of Hyannis, and Dyannmarie Tanso and Buzz Redgewell of Florida; the dear sister of Monte Reddington and his wife Mary of California, Jackie Gordon and her late husband, Joseph of Burlington, Gerriann Lydon of Wilmington and Jeanne Smith and her husband, Joseph of Florida; the cherished grandmother of 13 grandchildren, including Robert Richards and Amy Chabot of Chelsea She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Born in South Boston, she was the daughter of the late David and Joan (Sparrow) Reddington. She worked as a marketing representative at GeoTech Environmental for several years. She was a communicant of St. Pius V Church, Lynn and enjoyed photography, music, quilting, painting, drawing and writing. Sheila lived life to the fullest, was always happy and loved people. Her continuous smile could light up the world.
Sheila's funeral will be held from the CUFFE-MCGINN FUNERAL HOME, 157 Maple St. Lynn on Saturday, December 3rd at 9:00 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Pius V Church, 215 Maple St., Lynn at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be private. Visiting hours will be held on Friday, December 2nd, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
